Now Angel and Darla were to me, the greatest vampire couple ever to hit the the television. They reeked havoc for hundreds of years and simply had a love for each other which nothing could come between. Now granted you are probably saying what about Buffy, but what you have to remember is it was Darla who sired Angel andshowed him the world. Now we all know he used to say that in all his life time he had never loved anyone else other than Buffy. However if you remember back to the Angel episode "The Trial" Season 2 episode 9. I think this statement was greatly or atleast slightly judged untrue. Now in case you did not know Darla became a vampire becuase she had a sexually transmitted desease called syphilis which meant if she had not of become a vampire she would of died. So her morale's were for the good and she did not become a vampire simply for the power. Also to spend hundreds of years with someone you must have feelings for them of some kind. Also Buffy killing vampires must have had an effect on him in some way or another. Granted he was not like most other vampires but even so he still was one and so was Darla.
