Darla

 

Now I know that Darla was not the first in the line of Vampires. But I feel she was the most vital of the bunch and in a way she started it all off. Sired by the Master, Darla is the oldest within the story of Buffy and it is she who sires Angel. Now we find out quite a bit about Darla as the show goes on and moves onto Angel. Darla became a vampire due to having an STD known as Syphilis and so would of died if not for becoming a vampire. So her motive was better than most, but that did not stop her from causing havoc everywhere she went. Including Sunnydale.

Angel

 

Now Angel was probably the most influential vampire within the story of Buffy. Seeing her as she is chosen and falling for her that very second. Then keeps an eye on her and guides her on how to defeat the Master. Then as their love goes stronger. It seems nothing can come between them. They would destroy the world for their love and come up against some of the most darkest of evils ever to walk the earth. Including Angelus, the soulless side of Angel himself.

Drusilla

 

Drusilla is by far the craziest of the bunch with the voices in her head always over powering the world itself. However she sometimes used her insanity to her advantage controlling people and even killing Kendra. She was the first sired by Angel after he killed her whole family and drove her insane. Then she returned the favour by siring Spike who was going to do a few slayers in his time.

 

Spike

 

Spike was most probably my favourite vampire of the lot. He brought so much to the show and if it wasn't for him taking out two slayers, Buffy would never of existed in some sense. At first he seemed determined on taking out the slayer, that was at least until he fell madly in love with her and fought by her side again and again. We all know deep down. Buffy meant what she said in the finally and maybe he knew himself. But Spike will forever be one of the greatest vampires ever to hit our television and you never know. One day he may reek havoc once more. If we are lucky.
